Jack and Terry Janway, his father and mother-in-law, as well as his nephew Dalton, murdered in a shooting at their Oklahoma home. Dalton was 11 years old.

The 911 centre in Muskogee, Oklahoma got a call at 9:05 p.m. on Monday, according to a police report.

A woman’s voice could be heard on the other end of the phone saying, “There’s been a disturbance, and someone has a gun,” before abruptly hanging up.

Officers came to find a body laying in the corridor and confirmed the individual was dead. A second gunshot rang out on the other side of the home not long after police arrived.

After searching the whole residence, police found two additional remains and determined that three individuals had perished.

Dalton, their 11-year-old grandson, Jack, who was 69, and Terry, 68, were all found dead. Dalton is the nephew of Jimmie’s wife’s parents, Jack and Terry Janway.

Officials have said that they are treating the event as a possible murder-suicide. The authorities have established that Terry is a suspect, but they can’t say for sure what motivated her.

It’s also unclear whether Terry was the one to contact the cops. Muskogee Police Department Public Information Officer Lynn Hamlin told the press, “Yes, I’m able to confirm that is correct information.”

Jimmie’s absence from the next weekend’s races was officially confirmed by the Legacy Motor Club after this tragedy.

“The Johnson family has asked for privacy at this time and no further statements will be made,” it said. Everything about this circumstance is tragic.
