Tim Teneyck has spent the last 14 years working as a 911 dispatcher in Oregon, Ohio. He naturally believed the pizza delivery lady had the incorrect number when she called him up lately.

Tim reaffirmed the caller’s request just before he hung up. You placed a pizza order with 911? The other lady in the queue showed no signs of alarm.

She then provided Tim with her home location and unit number, but he was still perplexed by the bizarre conversation. Still, he didn’t end the call.

She protested, “You’re not understanding.” Even though Tim had never had a call like this in his 14 years on the job, he knew something was wrong.

Tim reasoned that the lady was a victim of domestic abuse and that he had a moral obligation to rescue her.

Tim started speaking in code to learn more about the frantic caller without raising any red flags on her end.

He took care to instruct responding officers to silence their sirens before leaving the station towards the caller’s home.

Tim didn’t find out what his caller was attempting to get away from until the Oregon Police Department showed there.
