Even more intriguing, the plus-size model has married and made their relationship public. “Everyone tried to keep their distance from me.” Embracing Her Curves: A Plus-Size Woman’s Story of Self Love and Acceptance

“I used to see people who wanted to keep me a secret,” she recalled. Another person, apparently put off by my stature, declined to shake my hand in public. I felt devalued as a result of it.

That doesn’t cut it. In a word, ugly. When I was at my lowest, I vowed to myself that I would never again allow somebody to bring me down to that point. Alex had been hidden away by many of the guys she had dated in the past.

Alex felt unworthy, ugly, and inadequate as a result of the guys she dated hiding her away.

However, the plus-size model is now open about her relationship with her new lover online, notably on TikTok, where the couple openly displays their love with embraces, passionate gazes, and beautiful kisses on the lips.

Alex’s search for love and eventual success is quite remarkable. She had met her future husband, Matthew, via a dating app in the summer of 2019.

According to reports, digital marketer Matthew and his bride-to-be met on a dating app and hit it off immediately, eventually becoming engaged and marrying in April of 2022.

The model has learnt to love her curves and flaunt them in Instagram posts. She had said, “Younger me would never have believed you if you had told me I would be in a bikini in public at my size.”

Alex said that she had been encouraged to cover up in the past, and that although her mother didn’t make her, she was forced to wear awful one-piece swimsuits.

She said, “It’s okay to embrace your belly, big thighs, and big arms, it’s there, it’s not going anywhere, it’s hot outside, and I don’t want to be in triple layers.”

Alex remembered how upsetting it was to be labelled a beached whale as an example of the constant body shaming he had to endure.

They’re like,’spotted the beached whale,’ she reportedly told BrightSide.’ That’s creative, I say, but try to top that with something worthwhile.

Some have said that plus-size women shouldn’t expose themselves because their bellies look unsightly.

Alex, though, is unapologetic about her curves, saying, “This is a real woman’s body, real women have cellulite, stretch marks, and rolls.”

Alex encourages people with great fervour to love their bodies and to rejoice in their own struggles to do so.

The plus-size model encourages anybody who is thinking of trying on a bikini for the first time to do it, even if it’s only in their own garden. She said, “Put it on, and just know your body is worthy — get it out.

” Many people, especially ladies with similar body shapes, have been inspired by Alex. When asked for clarification, she responded.

“Women who look like me, they feel like they can put that bikini on now after seeing me in it, that’s what’s important.”

Alex’s romance, though, hasn’t been problem-free. She has been informed by online trolls that Matthew is yearning for her and that she would crush his legs if they ever get together.

But the pair is still head over heels in love and unfazed by the criticism. ‘It’s dreadful,’ the model cried out again. However, we are completely head over heels for each other.

Now that I’ve earned my value, I know it. There is no need to feel unlovable just because of one’s weight. I hope everyone recognises your value.
