Rolan Warrior was an Inupiat native who lived in Alaska and gave tours. When he and other visitors were out on the water one day, he saw a strange white item near the boat’s motor.
Closer inspection revealed that it was, in fact, a polar bear. The vacationers were terrified and begged to be brought to safety on land, but Rolan could see the predator was no threat.
Was not acting aggressively, nor was it typical of him. The bear persisted in following his boat, and when he finally figured out why, he broke down in tears.
