In a long, heartwarming caption, she appreciated the positive comments her fans adored her after revealing her natural look.
The actress continued that although filters were fun to use, "they also can be really hard because you can forget to feel good about your real face." She also added that she needed to find a balance between using filters or makeup and just being herself. Although the bare-faced image surprised her, Hewitt's fans showed more support by complimenting her natural beauty.

Hewitt has always been open about her thoughts on beauty.
