2018 began on January 3 with the birth of Batya. Her spine was twisted and her skull was malformed due to a rare disease that she had at birth. Medical professionals deemed her “not compatible with life,” believing she had no chance of surviving. These predictions, however, were refuted by her parents’ unwavering love and dedication.
Despite great difficulty and struggle, Naffi and Racheli Goldman supported their daughter Batya and urged her to persevere despite the challenging circumstances she was born into.

Batya’s journey was nothing less than miraculous right from the start. In her early years, she encountered many difficulties, but she overcame them with extraordinary bravery and tenacity that inspired those around her. Despite all odds and medical professionals’ advice, she fought for her life.

Batya had to deal with the overwhelming reality of being both blind and deaf, and as a result, her path was paved with obstacles. For the first three months of her life, Batya struggled to survive, which was difficult. Six revivals were miraculously successful on her, each one making her stronger and more resilient.
The pregnant mother of Batya Racheli bravely revealed the emotional turmoil she went through. “We had a routine scan at the six-month mark, expecting to feel the typical excitement that every couple feels as they await the arrival of their first child. But as soon as the exam began, we realized there was a problem, Rachel recalled.

The doctor shockingly told the parents that their child was seriously ill and wasn’t going to make it. Pregnancy termination was advised to happen right away. Despite coming to this heartbreaking realization, Batya’s parents steadfastly remained committed to their decision to defy the doctor’s guidance and give their daughter a chance at life.
Naffi and Racheli Goldman continued to accept their daughter, Batya, with unwavering love and care despite difficulty and harsh criticism. They resisted having the pregnancy terminated because they were adamantly committed to their faith and the idea that everything has a deeper significance than we can fathom.

When Batya was born, she was immediately placed in an incubator and taken to the neonatal intensive care unit. Naffi and Racheli made the decision to abandon their business in order to focus solely on caring for their daughter. After three and a half arduous months, they at last brought Batya home.

We insisted that Batya ought to have experienced the same warmth and love as other children. Nothing about her health affected that. We were aware that this journey would be difficult and transformative,” said Rachel.
However, when they made the decision to publish pictures of Batya online, they encountered a deluge of derogatory comments. Naffi shockedly stated, “The comments we got on our pictures were horrifying.”.
Such evil individuals were not anticipated by us.

The abuse hurled at Batya was abhorrent. Some people called her a “monster,” others said she was “ugly.”. Others accused Naffi and Racheli of abusing their kids while others used cruel analogies.

Despite the insults and ongoing struggles, Naffi and Racheli were committed parents who never wavered in their commitment. They had a strong conviction that Batya deserved love, adoration, and a nurturing environment just like any other child. Their tenacity and grit were demonstrated by their unwavering dedication to their daughter’s welfare.

Since they were aware of the immense responsibility involved in caring for Batya, Naffi and Racheli committed to ongoing supervision and observation. They steadfastly stuck to their resolve to provide Batya with the best care and comfort they could and rejected any alternative that would have kept them apart from their beloved daughter.

A rotating shift system was chosen, with Racheli taking care of Batya from midnight to noon and Naffi from noon to midnight.
Naffi and Racheli turned to the GoFundMe website for financial assistance after having to leave their jobs to concentrate on Batya’s needs. Their page aimed to gather support in order to guarantee Batya’s ongoing health, happiness, and longevity.
Please accept our gratitude for any assistance provided, as doing so will enable us to give Batya the attention she merits, said Racheli. Please consider discussing this with your network.

Parents raising children who were experiencing the same difficulties as Batya all over the world responded favorably to this sincere appeal. Parents like Naffi and Racheli’s strength and unwavering commitment had a great impact on their children’s lives, inspiring and serving as a constant reminder of the unending love that drove their relentless efforts.
It is a testament to the perseverance of the human spirit and the lengths to which parents will go in order to safeguard their children in the face of adversity.
