Following a 104-pound weight loss, Allison Fisher described her amazing journey. Her periods were becoming more erratic and lasting almost a year, and she had been dealing with stomach pain for the majority of 2020.

She knew this, but she put off getting help because she didn’t want to have to start dieting again. When she had unrelated illnesses like colds or ear infections, she had frequently heard this when visiting the doctor.

She noticed a huge, stone-like tumor quickly growing on her abdomen as her discomfort quickly worsened.

After doing some online research, she determined that the growth was brought on by an ovarian cyst with roughly 46 liters of fluid, a diagnosis that required medical therapy to confirm.

Atonement St. Sarah Fisher had a 10 cm-diameter ovarian cyst and weighed 104 pounds, according to Dr. Martin Martino of Vincent’s Gynecologic Oncology.

Fisher was unable to lie on her stomach because she could feel her organs being squeezed by this cyst because it was so large. Her future ability to become a mother is also in jeopardy due to the left ovary being twisted three times.

Fisher said that the procedure gave her a “second shot” at life after the cyst was successfully removed.

Although Sarah’s left ovary was twisted, Dr. Martino and his team were able to untwist it. She had a chance to become pregnant in the future, and this didn’t harm her fertility.

Sarah Fisher, who endured years of extreme obesity, was able to restart her life following weight-loss surgery.

She talked about the experience and added that she could now do regular activities and put on clothing that she couldn’t before. Sarah also wanted to encourage those in a similar circumstance to seek medical attention without holding back because of their size.

Many women eventually experience the development of ovarian cysts, which are relatively common.
Although these cysts are typically painless, larger or burst ones can result in discomforts like pelvic pain, abdominal heaviness, or bloating.

Any symptoms that persist for a few days or longer should be checked by a doctor.
