A glass shower door is a stylish asset of the bathroom but it is not spared from dirt. It also suffers from mold stains, scratches, fog or limescale deposits.

Fortunately, with ingredients you probably have at home, you can remove stubborn stains without going through chemicals like bleach.

CLEAN THE SHOWER DOOR WITH WHITE VINEGAR

On its own, white vinegar can already work wonders as a natural disinfectant and cleaner. However, this eco-friendly product can be mixed with soapy water based on black soap or any other eco-friendly soap and then transferred to a spray bottle.

Apply the spray directly to shower doors to remove dirt stains, including soap residue.

Opt for one of the many homemade detergents made from natural products and pair it with one of the best natural disinfectants you can find, namely white vinegar.

DETACH THE SHOWER DOOR WITH EPSOM SALT

Epsom salt also called magnesium sulfate is a mineral that allows you to disinfect and shine without much effort.

Mix it with a little water to obtain a paste and then pass a sponge impregnated with it on the shower door. Let stand for a few minutes and then rinse with clean water.

Epsom salt is used in several registers. For example, its benefits for foot baths.

POLISHING THE SHOWER DOOR WITH CORNSTARCH

You can scrub the shower door with a mixture of a glass of distilled white vinegar, a tablespoon of dishwashing liquid and two tablespoons of cornstarch.

Soap residues and grime only have to stand well in front of the citric acid contained in the lemon. To use it, cut the citrus fruit in half and then rub some of it against your shower doors. Then rinse with clean water.

GET A CLEAN SHOWER DOOR WITH SODIUM BICARBONATE

To use baking soda on the shower door, the process does not differ from the Epsom salt method. In a bowl, make a mixture of baking soda and water so that a consistent paste results.

Apply the latter on the glass shower door and then clean with a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and let dry.

Warning: it is advisable not to use baking soda and Epsom salt on a daily basis at the risk of scratching the glass because of their abrasive power.
