The hit song has diverse opinions on the internet and throws light on a deeply divided America where right-wing enthusiasts seem to be promoting it while the leftist is thrashing it all together.

Despite the criticisms, the song went viral with nearly 20 million views so far on social media and caught the attention of the hit talk show ‘The Five’ where co-host Jessica Tarlov labeled the song as "fat shaming" for its absurd lyrics.

Her naive and ignorant remarks on the song have angered many fans who are now demanding that Tarlov be replaced "permanently" by another Fox News host Katie Pavlich.

Why is Jessica Tarlov being trolled by the fans?

Jessica Tarlov is a rotating co-host on ‘The Five’ and is a big left-wing sympathizer. Her political analysis of crucial moments and events in recent times has often received flak from the viewers.

However recently, when the topic of discussion on ‘The Five’ turned out to be Oliver Anthony’s viral blue-collar anthem, ‘Rich Men North of Richmond’ which represents the diminishing plight of the rural, put-upon white working-class hero, Tarlov’s naive remarks didn’t sit well with the viewers.

She stated that the line, “And the obese milkin' welfare” in the song was a tug at fat people and an attempt to ridicule them.

Jessica defended her statement with all her might on the show and stated that the song despite its best motives was offensive to fat people everywhere.

However, the song which has gone viral for critiquing the intensive policies of the government against rural Americans was labeled as the “anthem of the forgotten Americans” by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Tarlov was taken apart for her naive and insensitive remark with fans of the show asking the producers to replace her with Katie Pavlich.

After the episode was aired, ‘The Five’ posted a clip of the discussion on their Instagram. The fans were waiting to strike against Tarlov and launched a full-blown assault on her ignorant remarks.

One fan wrote, “Jessica this is the 2nd day you have made horrible comments about middle America you have no clue! Rich girl trying to pretend she knows what it means to live paycheck to paycheck.”

A second said, "I wish I could end my week with the Five but Jessica ruins it. Katie please take her seat permanently!!” while a third echoed the same sentiment, "Hopefully Fox producers see this. Jessica Tarlov is on so we change the channel.

A fourth said, “I love when Katie is on to combat Jessica’s blathering” and a fifth added, “Why do we always have to have the evil Jessica?? Sorry, I can’t watch again.”
