49ers’ Trent Williams’ Son Dies at 35 Weeks After Other Twin Di*d During Pregnancy

San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Trent Williams’ twin son has died after being stillborn at 35 weeks, shortly after the other twin died during pregnancy

San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Trent Williams has lost his twin son at 35 weeks after the boy was stillborn, shortly after the other twin died during pregnancy.

Trent’s wife, Sondra Williams, broke the tragic news on Sunday, December 1, alongside videos and photos from her journey.

Sondra gave thanks to her sister, Katina, who was by her side for the difficult process and even cut baby Trenton’s cord. In her post, Sondra revealed losing Trenton came on the heels of a separate tragedy earlier in the pregnancy.

Trent was inactive for the 49ers game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, officially ruled out with an ankle injury.

The Williams’ family tragedy comes just over a month after Trent’s teammate, 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward, announced the death of his 23-month-old daughter, Amani Joy.

“We are heartbroken that our beautiful baby girl, Amani Joy passed away on Monday morning,” Ward wrote via Instagram on October 30. “She was the best blessing we could have asked for, and her joyous spirit made us smile from ear to ear. She taught us to have patience, trust and a positive outlook on life. She showed us true strength and bravery.”

A cause of death for Ward’s daughter was not announced.
