Evacuations Underway After Car Crashes Into Los Angeles City Hall — Suspicious Package Found Inside

Authorities in Los Angeles have ordered immediate evacuations after a man intentionally crashed his vehicle into the steps of City Hall on Monday afternoon.

Police sources confirmed the driver appeared agitated and had left a handwritten sign on the windshield claiming he wanted to “speak to Trump.” Bomb squad units were dispatched to inspect what appeared to be a suspicious package inside the car.

Footage from the scene shows officers cordoning off several downtown blocks while negotiators and K-9 units were brought in. Witnesses described hearing a loud crash followed by the suspect shouting incoherently before being detained.

As of this hour, LAPD officials have not confirmed whether explosives were found, but they urged the public to stay away from the Civic Center area until the all-clear is given.

Officials say the man is being questioned by federal agents due to the nature of his message referencing former President Donald Trump.
