Billie Eilish joined fellow 2026 Grammy Awards attendees protesting Immigration and Customs Enforcement's actions in Minneapolis, Minn., and across the country, adding an "ICE Out" pin to her custom Hodakova attire for the red carpet on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
Eilish wore a navy upside-down barracuda jacket and a tailored skirt. Both garments were reconstructed from deadstock navy wool trousers. Hodakova's white cotton sleeve shirt peeked through the top of the jacket, playfully revealing an extra set of sleeves. The look was styled with a signature Hodakova flourish - upcycled deadstock belts. The singer's look was designed by Ellen Hodakova Larsson.
On the collar of Eilish's barracuda jacket was a black and white pin that read "ICE OUT." Seen previously on public figures like Olivia Wilde and Natalie Portman at the Sundance Film Festival, the pins are a symbol of protest against ICE's tactics following the fatal ICE agent shootings of Renée Nicole Good and Alex Pretti. Eilish has been using her platform to advocate for protesters.
Along with her continued advocacy, Eilish has a history of bold fashion statements on the Grammys red carpet. For the 2025 Grammys, the "Birds of a Feather" singer wore a Prada look with goth style inspiration and a nautical touch thanks to her sailor's cap.
Eilish's 2025 attire was a departure from her 2024 Grammys look. On the heels of the success of the film "Barbie," Eilish wore a custom, vintage-inspired Barbie varsity jacket in black, featuring pops of pink, designed by Chrome Hearts.
The singer's been a mainstay at the Grammy Awards over the last several years, making her debut to the awards show in January 2020 for the 62nd edition of the Grammys. For her inaugural appearance, Eilish wore a custom black and neon green ensemble designed by Alessandro Michele for Gucci.
Already the recipient of nine Grammys, Eilish is nominated at the 2026 awards show for Song of the Year for "Wildflower" and Record of the Year for the same hit.
The 68th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah for the sixth consecutive year, honor the best music and artists from 2025. Held at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena on Sunday night, the 2026 Grammys feature performances by Lady Gaga, Addison Rae and Sabrina Carpenter, among others. Bad Bunny, Chappell Roan, Doechii and Billie Eilish are among the high-profile nominees for Record of the Year. The ceremony will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ at 8 pm ET.
